The University of Arizona doubles team of Briar Preston and Shayne Austin lost in the Pac-12 women’s tennis tournament quarterfinals on Friday, falling 8-1 to the Stanford team of Ellen Tsay and Caroline Doyle on Friday in Ojai, California.
Preston and Austin had earlier beaten USC’s Gabby Smith and Madison Westby 8-5 in the round of 16.
