Rated as a 3-star offensive guard by Rivals, Gutwald's recruitment has been heating up. This spring he's taken many unofficial visits to Pac-12 schools including Cal, Stanford, Arizona State and USC.
Owning a 4.4 GPA, he holds offers to Air Force, Brown, Columbia, Sacramento State, and San Jose State. Just one day after he was offered by Arizona, Oregon jumped in and offered him.
