TEMPE, Ariz. -- Three Arizona State softball student-athletes were honored Monday morning by being named to 2017 All-Pac-12 Academic teams, the league office announced.
Senior Margaret Stahm led the way for the Sun Devils, earning First-Team honors, while fellow senior Sashel Palacios, and sophomore Skylar McCarty each earned Honorable Mention accolades.
Stahm, a three year letterwinner for the Sun Devils, picked up her second conference academic honor Monday after being named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team following the 2016 season. The senior infielder started all but one game at first base for ASU in 2017, while also being successful in the classroom, finishing the academic year with a stellar 3.
