TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State women's soccer team remained unbeaten behind exceptional play on both ends of the field. Lucy Lara, Adriana Orozco, Jessica Raybe and Jazmarie Mader all found the back of the net while the Sun Devil defense allowed only two shots in Friday night's 4-0 win over Loyola Chicago.
The Sun Devils (2-0-1) peppered the Ramblers (0-2-1) with 29 shots while allowing only two in the game. For the third time in as many games the Sun Devils were able to take an early lead after first-half goals from Lara (nailed free kick straight on from 35 yards in the eighth minute) and Orozco (cross from Olivia Hernandez in front of Loyola's net in the 30th minute).
