ASU softball will look to bounce back from Saturday’s heartbreaking loss Sunday versus Utah.
The Utes, after squandering a 2-run first inning lead, rallied to score 4 runs in the seventh inning to defeat Arizona State 7-6.
Both games have come down to the final inning with the Sun Devils scoring 4 runs of their own in the seventh inning Friday including a walk-off home run by designated player Emma Ramelot to down the Utes 9-8.
With both pitching staffs sporting strong ERAs, it’s the hitting that has dominated this series with the teams combining for 30 runs over the two games.
