The Arizona State Sun Devils fell to the No.5 UCLA Bruins 87-75 despite a strong effort on the defensive end. Four of the five starters played the whole 40 minutes of the game with the odd man out being junior guard Kodi Justice. He only played 39 minutes as freshman forward Ramon Vila came into the game during the second half to give Justice a one minute break.
Despite holding freshman guard Lonzo Ball to only four points, it became the same old story for the Sun Devils as they were outsized.
