Arizona State football received a second linebacker commitment is as many days Tuesday.
Christian LaValle, 6-1, 225, of Mission Viejo, Calif., announced his commitment a day after linebacker Reggie Hughes of Calabasas, Calif., chose ASU.
LaValle has 108 tackles (53 solo) and five tackles for loss as a junior. He is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports.
ASU now has five commitments, four on defense, in its 2018 recruiting class.
Three of the five commitments are from California.
