On the mound: LHP Robbie Ray gave up six runs in four innings before being ejected by home plate umpire Bill Miller after arguing balls and strikes. Ray had just been called out in strikes while hitting in the bottom of the fourth and appeared to be getting in a few words as he walked back to the dugout when Miller tossed him. “That’s between me and him,” Ray said. “I’m not going to comment on that.” Ray, who walked three, was asked if he had issues while on the mound with the zone Miller was calling.
