Four outings into spring training suggest the right-hander’s season is on a better trajectory than last year.
In two of his past three appearances, he struck out a combined 14 batters in 6 1/3 innings, allowing one run and four hits. He’s had a few bumpy outings, too, but the vibe around camp suggests the team is encouraged by his performance.
