The Arizona Diamondbacks have reached down to bring back one of their best stories of 2015. Right-handed pitcher Zack Godley has been recalled from Double A Mobile and will start tomorrow’s series opener in Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs. This will be his third trip to the Majors in 2015.
Godley began 2015 at Single A Visalia before being brought up to Mobile in June. On July 23rd, the 25-year old Godley made his Major League debut by tossing six shutout innings as the D-backs defeated the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 8-3.
