Pittsburgh took advantage of some early opportunities scoring 2 runs in the 1st and the 5th inning; knocking out starter Jeremy Hellickson after 4 2/3. The Pirates would add some insurance runs in the 8th and 9th - but; seriously - how much insurance did they need? A single run seemed to be an insurmountable lead for the D-backs today.
