No structural damage in shoulder for Arizona Diamondbacks' Archie Bradley

For Diamondbacks starting pitcher Archie Bradley, no news is good news.

The 22-year-old right-hander returned to the team this week after a trip to Alabama to visit Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on his ailing right shoulder. Bradley said on Thursday that Andrews confirmed what team doctors had diagnosed: There was no structural damage to his labrum or his rotator cuff.

"Some inflammation, some swelling, some irritation, but nothing structurally," Bradley said. "To have that confirmed was some relief."

He last pitched for the Diamondbacks on June 1 against Atlanta.
