The Cardinals still didn’t have a long snapper after the draft, and they didn’t end up taking a quarterback, so they addressed both with their 2016 undrafted rookie class.
Jake Coker, who led Alabama to a national championship, was added to compete with Matt Barkley for the third-string quarterback role. And the team brought in two long snappers to compete for the job left vacant when Mike Leach retired:
Campbell’s Daniel Dillon and Portland State’s Kameron Canaday.
The Cardinals agreed to terms with 16 undrafted rookies total.
