Carson Palmer had his best NFL season, and orchestrated the Cardinals’ top-rated NFL offense and Bruce Arians’ “No risk it, no biscuit” passing game -- all after coming back from a torn ACL in 2014.
Saturday, Palmer’s role was noted when he was honored as the league’s FedEx Air Player of the Year.
Fans vote on the weekly FedEx Air and Ground players of the week, but Palmer was selected as the year’s winner, beating
out fellow nominees Tom Brady of the Patriots and Drew Brees of the Saints.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Year.
