Bruce Arians loves speed.
So the Cardinals added some Wednesday, signing wide receiver Harvey Binford – who took part in the NFL’s pro player combine held at the Cards’ Tempe facility this past weekend -- to a contract.
The league has now held two “veteran” combines over the past three years, both in Tempe. The previous time, the Cardinals ended up with tight end Ifeanyi Momah. Now they will see if Binford can stick around.
Binford joins a receiving corps that already has some speed thanks to J.J. Nelson and John Brown – the latter of which is hoping to have fully recovered from the sickle cell issues that slowed him in 2016.
