Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Cardinals are re-signing veteran RB Chris Johnson ahead of training camp.
Johnson, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Titans back in 2008. After six years in Tennessee, Johnson signed on with the Jets for the 2014 season but spent just one year in New York before joining the Cardinals the following season.
Arizona elected to bring Johnson back on a one-year, $1.5 million contract last March and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
