From the outside, it appears Cardinals coach Bruce Arians and his staff have a difficult decision to make at the running back position.
With Andre Ellington expected back this week from a knee injury, the Cardinals are deep at the position. And Ellington, Chris Johnson and rookie David Johnson all have proved capable of making explosive plays.
So the job of dividing carries and receptions three ways looks hard.
“No, it’s not hard,” Arians said, “because the young guy sits down.”
That would be David Johnson, the third-round pick who caught two passes for touchdowns, rushed for another and returned a kickoff for another.
