Cardinals Draft Day Rumors: Michael Floyd Trade Chatter, Moving Back An Option

The Arizona Cardinals will be one of the last teams to make their first-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean there isn't some pre-draft buzz surrounding the NFC West champs at the eleventh hour. Here are the latest Cardinals draft day rumors.

Michael Floyd Not On The Move?
Though there has been chatter about the Cardinals moving Michael Floyd during the draft, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 insists that the wide receiver is safe:

Floyd has made strides over the past few seasons, but hasn't reached the elite level of play the Cardinals were hoping for when they took him in the first round of the 2012 draft. Holding onto him in the last year of his rookie contract is the logical play here.

Cardinals Prepared To Trade Back?

With several teams hungry to trade into the back of the first round to draft a quarterback, the Cardinals are in a great spot. If they aren't happy with the players on the board at No. 29, they could easily find a trade partner to swap them multiple mid-round picks. If they do see a lineman or cornerback that they like, though, they can hold onto the selection.
