BOONE, N.C. – Due to substandard field conditions caused by the recent amounts of rainfall in the Boone area, Appalachian State University softball’s midweek contest with instate rival Charlotte has been canceled. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 at 5 p.m.
Up next, the Mountaineers will host their last three-game conference series this weekend, April 29-30, against UTA. Saturday’s doubleheader will start at 1 p.m., and Sunday’s series finale will begin at noon. Free snow cones will be served, and there will be a mini helmet giveaway on Saturday, and we will honor our three seniors before the start of game three of the conference series on Sunday.
