COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Appalachian State University Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Rachel Gaines was selected to the U.S. Senior Indoor National Field Hockey Team on Wednesday as announced by USA Field Hockey.
“This is a really big deal for Rachel and our program,” said head coach Meghan Dawson. “Rachel is a dedicated student-athlete who works tirelessly on and off the field. She is committed to pushing herself to be the best she can be and to achieve her goals. As a program, we are proud of what Rachel has achieved and look forward to her career here at Appalachian.
