The final event of the 11th annual Shred for the Cup Series at the App Terrain Park on Appalachian Ski Mtn. takes place on Sunday, Feb. 26, beginning at noon. Registration occurs from 9 to 11 a.m.
Over the past decade, Shred for the Cup has evolved into the benchmark park competition series in the High Country, according to Drew Stanley, director of the ASM’s App Terrain Park and resort spokesman.
“It’s been around for a good while and has become the standard freestyle terrain and competition series in the region,” Stanley said. “This year we’ve had pretty good participation, averaging 50 competitors.
