App State MBB Alum to Appear on "The Voice"

BOONE, N.C. –– Appalachian State University men’s basketball alumnus Josh Hunter will be featured on the popular network television program “The Voice.” The show’s 12th season premieres on Monday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Hunter, an Albany, Ga. native, played forward for the Mountaineers from 2008-10.

As a member of the Black and Gold, Hunter was on the 2009-10 Mountaineer squad that reached the Southern Conference championship game under head coach Buzz Peterson. He averaged 7.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 68 career games - making 52 starts. Hunter also shot 50.
