BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State University women's basketball continues to land highly-talented recruits, as the Mountaineers and head coach Angel Elderkin added the seventh signee to the 2017-18 class in LaPresha Stanley.

Stanley, a native of Rockledge, Fla., is the fourth guard that has signed with the class for next season, further adding more depth to the position for coach Elderkin's high-paced system. The 5'9 guard enjoyed a decorated high school career where she helped Rockledge to three-straight district titles and appearances in the regional finals. In addition, Stanley improved her numbers every season from her sophomore to senior year while earning a number of awards along the way.
