Anaheim Ducks acquire G Jonathan Bernier

The Anaheim Ducks have finally made a move by acquiring goaltender Jonathan Bernier (8/7/88) from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a conditional 2017 draft choice.

Bernier is no stranger to Southern California hockey as he was selected by Los Angeles in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2006 NHL Draft. His NHL career debut was against your's truly, the Anaheim Ducks in London, England on September 29th, 2007, where he earned a 4-1 win.

The 6-0, 185-pound Quebec native posted an 88-88-23 record with 12 shutouts with an overall 2.
