PROVIDENCE, R.I. – SMU senior Lindsey McCurdy was named the American Women's Golf Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
McCurdy tied for third in a field of 95 at the Dr. Donnie Thompson Invitational hosted by University of Hawai’i. The senior finished 4-under 212 (70-72-70) and notched her second Top 3 finish and third Top 5 finish of the season in the process. She tied for the event lead in Par 3 scoring and was among tournament leaders in birdies and pars. McCurdy now has 14 of her 29 career rounds of par or better this season.
