Before he engineered what is being talked about in Philadelphia simply as, "The Drive," Phillip Walker was already a household name in the City of Brotherly Love.
Well, sort of.
Walker, who has Temple primed for a battle for first place in the East Division with USF Friday, was better-known as P.J. Walker during his first three years with the Owls. He arrived at Temple as a prized recruit after he was named as New Jersey's Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in high school. And it didn't take long - namely, his second appearance as a freshman - to show that he would become a fixture at the helm of Temple's offense.
