Two Alabama defensive players underwent a procedure Monday.
AL.com reported that both cornerback Anthony Averett and outside linebacker Christian Miller had sports hernia surgery.
Both players are expected to be healthy and back in time before the start of fall camp in August.
Averett, a redshirt senior this fall, was a first-year starter at cornerback last season. He reportedly played through most of the season with the injury.
Miller, a redshirt junior, is projected to be a first-time starter this season.
