The Alabama Crimson Tide have picked up a commitment from a four star safety in the Class of 2017.
Xavier McKinney committed to Alabama over the weekend, according to Rivals.com.
"I'm committed to Alabama," McKinney told Rivals. "I want to make sure I do it now because I feel it's a good place for me and it's a place where I think they can get me to the next level as a player."
McKinney holds notable offers from Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia Tech, according to 247Sports.
