Baseball Drops Pair of Games to Ole Miss on Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. -- Alabama fell to Ole Miss in a pair of games on Saturday inside Swayze Field with the Rebels claiming the series win in the process. The Crimson Tide fell 10-2 in afternoon matchup and then suffered a 4-0 loss in the evening billing. With the pair of losses, Alabama moves to 22-20 overall and 7-13 in SEC play.

GAME 1
Alabama allowed a season-high 17 hits and gave up double-digit runs for just the second time all season, as the Crimson Tide fell 10-2 in game one of the doubleheader.

Mississippi starter Christian Trent shut down the Crimson Tide, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts for his sixth win of the season.
