Alabama Football: 3 Burning Questions Following Spring Football

The Alabama Crimson Tide are ready to bounce back in a big way months after the team's crushing Sugar Bowl loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes. While there's optimism abound in Tuscaloosa, there's also plenty of questions that need answering before the season starts just over four months from now. Here's 3 Burning Questions For The Alabama Crimson Tide Following Spring Football.

1. Is this Jacob Coker's time?

When Jacob Coker transferred from FSU to Alabama in hopes of stepping out of Jameis Winston's shadow, he came with the force of a wave of hype. However, he ended losing the preseason quarterback battle to Blake Sims and was once again forced to watch most of the season from the sidelines. Now it's his turn to prove himself, and we'll all going to see whether another year of waiting will lead to an inspired effort in 2015.

2. How will the secondary shape up?

Alabama's secondary heads into the 2015 season having to replace 2014 Thorpe Award finalist Landon Collins and starting safety Nick Perry. There's plenty of talented youth to be had on the depth chart (Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey are two names to watch), but the team's defensive backs are still a relative question mark following spring practice.

3. Will the offensive line reshuffle and perform?

The Tide also lost three starters on the offensive line, including NFL Draft prospects Arie Kouandjio and Austin Shepherd. The O-line is undoubtably in a transition phase, but the effect of the three departures could be minimized if talented four-star early enrollees Dallas Warmack and Brandon Kennedy step up and seize starting jobs.
