Five-star defensive end LaBryan Ray (Madison, AL) announced that he has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide over Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
Alabama was the leader throughout the process for Ray, but made official visits to Florida and Tennessee over the course of the past month.
The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder is ranked as the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and No. 26 overall prospect in the country. He is also the top-ranked player in the state of Alabama.
