AKRON, Ohio — Third-year head coach Tom Hanna announced the 2017 Akron women's volleyball schedule on Wednesday.
The fall slate features 11 home matches and three tournaments.
"I'm excited about our 2017 schedule, as our non-conference tournaments will allow us to be well prepared for MAC play," Hanna said. "I think the schedule provides us with a number of different opportunities for a young team to develop and learn to compete before we enter conference play. It also gives us the opportunity to play at two military academies, which is always a great for our student-athletes to see what some of their peers are experiencing in a different academic environment where their future careers will be different than what they are experiencing here at Akron.
