KENT, Ohio – The University of Akron volleyball team gave up a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 16-25, 20-25) road decision to Kent State in Mid-American Conference action on Saturday night at M.A.C. Center.
"Once again, despite not winning the match, we did a lot of good things on our side of the net," said head coach Tom Hanna. "We played well against the two top teams in the MAC East from last year. This group is more competitive than this time last year and I am confident that a break through is coming in the near future.
