Akron, Ohio – Head basketball coach John Groce added another piece to the Akron Zips men's basketball program as Virshon Cotton (Milwaukee, Wisc.) signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Akron.
"Virshon is a guard with a high basketball I.Q. and the gift to score," Groce said. "His ability to make plays off ball screens will be a good fit for our system."
Cotton is a 6-foot-1 combo guard out of national power Hillcrest Prep Academy in Phoenix, Ariz.
