Three Unanswered Goals Spark, 3-2, Come-From-Behind Win Over CMU

AKRON, Ohio – Trailing by two after 84 minutes of play, the Zips women's soccer team scored two goals in the final five minutes to force overtime before, freshman Julia Crowe (Ann Arbor, Mich.) notched the golden-goal for the Zips in the second overtime period to edge Central Michigan, 3-2, on Friday night at FirstEnergy Stadium – Cub Cadet field.

After 100 minutes of play, the game remained tied at 2-2. Akron came out of the second overtime period aggressive. Off a turnover, Crowe beat a CMU defender for the ball and dribbled into the middle of the field.
