Columbus, Ohio – The Akron Zips men's golf team finished 10th overall at the 2017 Robert Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State after a 310 (+26) final round on Sunday.
The Zips completed the 54-hole event with a 926 (+74) team score at OSU's Scarlet course, a par 71 that stretches 7,455 yards. Akron opened the event with a 315 (+31) and cut 14 strokes off the second round score for a 301 (+17) tally on Saturday.
Illinois climbed one spot during the final round to claim the team title with an 864 (+12) team total, while Kent State earned runner-up with a 874 (+22) ledger.
