KENT, Ohio – The University of Akron women's basketball team waged a valiant comeback over the games final minutes, but the rally was not rewarded as Kent State (17-11, 11-5 MAC) secured a 73-69 triumph past the Zips (9-18, 2-14 MAC) in the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the M.A.C. Center.
