Area of need: Quarterback
Jerod Evans' departure was a bit of a surprise, leaving Virginia Tech thin at quarterback. But the arrival of two transfers -- former Nebraska QB A.J. Bush and Ryan Willis from Kansas -- offers depth to go along with redshirt freshman Josh Jackson. Replacing Evans' production may be an impossible task, but Justin Fuente has worked wonders with plenty of quarterbacks, and this will be a critical offseason for him to do it again.
