Chaos in the Coastal keeps ACC's playoff picture hazy

When the season draws to a close and the usual chaos of the Coastal Division is sorted out, it may well end up that the most important game of the year was played through the remnants of a hurricane, with driving rain and whipping winds and 10 fumbles. Ask any North Carolina fan, and they’ll happily tell you that it was Hurricane Matthew that upended the Tar Heels that day, not Virginia Tech.

Or maybe it will be a missed PAT that decides the division. North Carolina missed one against Florida State, which forced the Tar Heels to drive for a game-winning field goal in the final seconds rather than head to overtime.
